It provides the keys to Jewish life. Being at Nishmat is a full Jewish learning experience, blending the intellectual and spiritual. We learn things we don't ordinarily get a chance to learn, and gain the tools to grow as Jewish leaders and scholars." Nira Balabin, Jerusalem Starting in the Fall of 2002, Nishmat inaugurated the Nishmat Alisa Flatow Overseas Advanced Program for English speakers with a very strong Torah learning background. Students will be integrated into the English-speakers program as a whole, while also having the opportunity to join advanced Israeli shiurim. The Advanced program will enable you to benefit from the warm, caring learning community at Nishmat. The wide-ranging curriculum includes the option of independent projects in your field of choice mentored by a faculty member. Students may work independently or in chavrutot on individually chosen projects. Your independent research will help you develop higher learning skills and a deeper understanding of a specific topic. At the conclusion of each project, students will present their research to the group.
