- Ma'ayan seeks Director Boston

Ma'ayan, which offers "Torah Study from the Sources" to the Boston Jewish Community, seeks a Director who shares our passion for engaging adults, especially women, in the study of traditional Jewish texts.

We are looking for a leader who possesses strong organizational, planning, and managerial skills; the ability to interact with our broad student body, faculty, and board committees; strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in a typical office computing and online environment; working knowledge of Hebrew and classic Judaic texts; and the ability to exhibit initiative and creativity. Applicants should be able to lead with professionalism and sophistication and be willing to learn quickly. Familiarity with the Greater Boston Jewish community and the Orthodox community in particular is a plus.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing Ma'ayan's program of courses and events; working to design and implement strategies for student and faculty recruitment and retention; collaborating with the Board to strengthen Ma'ayan's mission and long-term planning; serving as the organization's public face; developing new initiatives; managing the budget, fund development, and donor cultivation; and managing print and online marketing efforts.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours (approx. 20-25 hours/week but there is room to be flexible), with ideal start date in June/July. Some evening and weekend availability is required.
