A year of deep Torah learning and Avodat Hashem in an Israeli bet midrash.
A year of deep Torah learning and Avodat Hashem in an Israeli bet midrash.

Start on the path to becoming a talmida chachama.

At Nishmat, Torah learning is a full-time endeavor. Classes begin in the morning and continue until late at night. Nishmat is your opportunity to develop proficiency in Gemara, Halacha, Machshava and Tanach. Your challenge will be to make Torah more than just information, to let it become who you are and how you think.  We aspire for our students to become talmidot chachamot, lifetime students of Torah.

Don’t just come to Israel, become a part of Israel!

At Nishmat, you will be integrated into an Israeli bet midrash – sharing your chevrutotand classes with Israeli students.Through your Torah learning, friendships with Israeli classmates, and volunteer chesed work, you will become part of the present and future of Medinat Yisrael. Tanach in hand, you will travel the land of Israel for tiyulim and Shabbatot… you’ll fall in love with Eretz Yisrael.

This is a year to grow in Avodat Hashem.

Religious growth at Nishmat begins in the bet midrash. Together with a community of fellow students and devoted faculty, you will strengthen your yirat shamayim, your connection to tefillah, and your relationship with Hashem. Your teachers will become true morei derech (mentors), working with you as you explore challenging questions and grow spiritually. Through shiurim and chesed opportunites, through ben adam l’makom and ben adam l’chavero, you will work to make Torah and mitzvot an integral part of your personality.
