Rabbi Shlomo Brody is the dean of the Tikvah Overseas Students Institute and a columnist for The Jerusalem Post. He previously served as a senior instructor at Yeshivat Hakotel and as a junior researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute. He received his BA from Harvard University, MA from Hebrew University, rabbinic ordination from the Israel Chief Rabbinate after years of study at Yeshivat Har Etzion, and recently submitted his doctorate at Bar Ilan Law School. Rabbi Brody has published dozens of articles in journals and magazines such as Tzohar, First Things, Tablet, Mosaic, Hakirah, Bifrat u-biklal, and other publications. His book, A Guide to the Complex: Contemporary Halakhic Debates, received a 2014 National Jewish Book Award. Rabbi Brody lives in Modiin with his wife Rocky and their five children.
